My exploration of sculpture began with a fascination for what could be created from something as simple and natural as wool. I was drawn to the challenge of transforming soft fibers into expressive three-dimensional forms.

Animals quickly became some of my favorite subjects. I love capturing not only their physical characteristics, but also their personality, movement and expression. Each sculpture is created entirely by hand using wool and silk fibers, gradually building the form and details over a wire armature.

Because every piece is shaped individually by hand, no two sculptures are ever exactly alike.

Needle Felted Sculptures are made with 100% merino wool and silk. A minimal wire armature in the body and legs is added whenever required for stability. All sculptures are original designs and made entirely by hand.
